If you want to make Money on the Web you have to know how to get people to your Website. You have to Promote, Advertise, get the word out, let people know what it is you have. Now there are many ways to do this and I don't pretend to know all of them but, like you, I'm learning all the time.

One of the First things you must learn is NOT to SPAM!! Spam is sending out E-mails to people you don't know and who don't know you and don't expect anything or asked to receive anything. DO NOT do it. It's the fastest way to get you kicked out of a Company and to get that Company in trouble. You can lose your ISP as well as force the Company to lose their Web hosting. If that happens YOU are responsible for many people losing their dreams. So, DO NOT SPAM!

That being said there are many other ways to get the word out and promote responsibly. Banner Advertising, Classified ads, News Letters, Ezines, Safelists, Message Boards (if they allow it) and more.

There are many programs that will help you out and many that will also make you a nice income while you do it.

I have listed some Great Programs that I believe can really be of help, and some can make you some extra cash while you use them.

One of the first things you're going to need is a Good Autoresponder. That's an E-mail account that sends out messages for you as often as you like and as many as you like. Now, this can run you some money but there are some Free ones you can use and one of the best is www.freeautobot.com they are Free and there is no advertising added to your message.

Or, for a Very Small Monthly fee, you can get 50 Unlimited AutoResponders and a Lot More!

One more thing you're going to need is a Short Redirect URL to you Member site or if you have a Free site to that. Many Opportunities will give you a site to promote from but they'll have long hard to remember URL addresses. Who can remember: www.bestontheweb.com/members/username?=bob

A redirect URL address can be Short, Free and send your prospect to the right page and they're easy to set up. Here are a couple I like and have used.

Beam.to requires no Banners, in fact I couldn't even find a banner on their site to use to link to. This is a very popular Company, but you may have to think to come up with a name that hasn't been used yet.
