I am going to talk about getting the job done. What is the job you ask? Building
a business, that's the job. Whatever you are marketing on the Web, it is a business and you need to be treating it like one.
To build a business, you need customers. I most cases with the type of business we
are all in, you need people to join with you in whatever program you are marketing. That means Leads.
There are a lot of Lead generating programs out there. Pick one, Join it and
use it.
There are always other ways of doing things. But however you do things, it all comes down to advertising,
promotion, marketing. A lot of that is writing ads.
No matter what program you use for getting Leads, you are going to have to market it. Writing ads is
one way of doing that, whether to Classified or Safelists, you've got to write a good ad.
Someone sent me something this week and I am going to pass it on to you. When you write an ad for
a Safelist or a Classified, keep these 5 things in mind.
Who
What
Why
When
Where
Who are we?
What is being offered?
Why should someone buy?
When should they do it?
Where
can they get the details?
If you keep those 5 things in mind as you write and keep your ad short, you will do well. I know I
have always fallen victim to Over Writing my ads. Seems I just can't shut up. Don't do like I do, do like I say.
The main purpose of an ad or a doorway site, is to get people interested enough to want to
know more. If your ad or personal site does that, you have succeeded.
So keep what you write in an ad or on a site, to the point. That point being, getting
people interested enough to want to know more.
Why do we market Lead programs over our main programs? Because most of the people we are marketing
too, are already in programs of their own. They may not be looking for something new and wonderful.
BUT, they all need something. And that's why marketing a Lead program or other promotional
tool type program will get noticed.
With any Network Program, it's all a matter of team work.
Now, you can decide to be a follower or a leader. That is up to you. It can work out for you either way. If you are a follower
and you have a good leader, just do what they tell you to do. Most programs have some kind of system for members to
follow. Things to do to build the business, if they don't have some path spelled out, find who the leaders are above you and
ask them for help. If they are true leaders, you will get all the help you can take.
If you are a leader, then take the Lead. Push your people, get them excited. Get
them moving. Always reply to their questions with good honest answers. Always have ideas to offer them. If you are going to
be a leader, then start right now, by learning all you can, not only about your program, but learn how to market. Learn what
works and what doesn't. There is no magic formula for success. If there were we would all be Rich by now. There is only learning
and working.
So, treat this as a business. Learn how to work your business. Do Not expect things
to be handed to you. Life doesn't work that way. You earn what you work for. A Network Marketing program maybe much more rewarding
then your normal day to day J-O-B, but it still takes work and time to learn how to work.
I will end this ramble with a little story that I want all of you to think about.
Seems there was this Poor Woman who was in such bad straights that she could not see her way out.
So, every night, she begged the Lord to, "Please let me Win the Lottery."
Every night the same, "Oh, Please Lord let me Win the Lottery."
After months of this, the Lord finally got tired of it all and answer her this way. He said in a Booming
Voice,
"Meet Me Halfway Lady, Buy a Ticket!"
So, meet the Lord halfway in your dreams of a better life, buy a ticket. In other words, get
to work on your business.
