Are you making the kind of money you expected you'd be making by now?
 
Have all the BIG dreams come true?
 
Do you have the money for the BIG vacation?
 
The New House?
 
The New Car?
 
Have you been able to pay off those Bills?
 
Whatever dreams you had when you started this business, have they come true?
 
Are you making ANY Money?
 
My guess would be that most of you aren't.
 
Why is that?
 
Are you jumping from one GREAT Deal the next?
 
Do you keep spending money on programs that keep promising they are the Next Big Thing?
 
Do you keep placing ads, getting nowhere?
 
"Been there, done that."
 
Why can't you make this work?
 
If you can't make this work doing what you are doing, then STOP Doing it. Find another way to do it. If you don't have the money to spend on really good advertising, then figure out a better way.
 
Ask yourself these questions:
 
1. What is my main program?
2. Does it look like something that will be around next month or next year?
3. Does it offer a good product or service?
4. Am I promoting the product or service or just the money to be made?
5. Who are the people who will want this product or service?
6. How can I reach them?
 
Whatever your main program is, make sure it is a solid company and not some fly by night here today gone tomorrow deal. There are a lot of them out there.
 
Make sure the product or service is a good one and not Over Priced.
 
Promote the product or service first, and let the money to be made come later in your advertising. If you only promote the Money to be made, when it's slow in coming, your people will drop out. If you promote the product or service, they will hang on while it builds because they want it.
 
Stop wasting your time and energy promoting something to people who don't need or want it and find the ones who do.
 
Think about the people who will want and use the product or service and figure out where they are. If that's off line, then so be it. Advertise off line. If it's a product or service that people who market online need, then concentrate your efforts online in places they will be.
 
Just don't go talking the ear off your neighbors about an autoresponder and leads deal, when they have no reason to want that.
 
We know that getting people who are trying to make money already, to join your main program is a good idea. But don't forget the end user of your product or service.
 
We all know and I have said it until I am blue in the face, they way to build a business online, is to build your mailing list. You need that list. Without it, you are just one of the crowd promoting through Safelists, Classifieds, E-zines and Exchanges like everyone else and there is no reason to join you over someone else.
 
How do you build a mailing list?
 
You can also offer E-books, a Marketing Course, Software or anything that your target audience needs and wants. If your main product is soap, offer a FREE sample. Companies do this all the time. It builds their mailing lists. And it doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg.
 
Once you have that list building, you can market your main program to them and all the other sideline helpful programs too. And when people join you in something, help them do what you have been doing. If you don't, you will never succeed. The more people you help, the better off you will be.
 
Whatever you do, this is a fact I have learned over the years.
 
In order to market your main program to people, you need to offer them something else, something that they need first. Then tell them about your main offer.
 
If what you are doing is not working, Stop doing it, and find another way. And if there is anything else I can teach you about this business, that you need to drum into your head, it's this.
 
Don't depend on anyone to build your business for you, depend on yourself.
