If you want to succeed in this business of ours, you Have to Help People.
"What," you say, "I'm the one who needs help, how can I help anyone else?"
What you have to understand in this business is the Networking aspect of it.
What is Networking exactly?
It means connecting with those we know or have come in contact with, using that relationship to grow our business.
But in this Internet World of Marketing most of us will have no relationship with those who join with us in whatever
program we market. They don't know us, and we don't know them.
Building a relationship with people through a mailing list is a big help, but there's more to building
this business, your business, than just signing people up.
You Must, if you want to grow your Business, help those people all you can. If you just let them flounder
around on their own, you are wasting a valuable asset.
Network Marketing is all about duplicating yourself. By spreading the work load out through many different
hands, it allows you to reach the income levels we all dream of. If those who join programs with you, need help, you not only
have to offer it to them, you have to give it to them.
There are three things I want you to keep in mind, the first is from the Bible, the second is thought to be,
but isn't. The third is found all through the Bible. They are all worth thinking about.
1. YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF (Matthew 22:39)
2. The Lord helps those who help themselves. (this is NOT in the Bible)
3. Trust in the Lord. (found all over the Bible)
The first, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF" is the cornerstone of how we should live
our lives. If you need help, then offer help to others. If someone asks for help and you don't know what to do, ask the ones
who are helping you.
You expect help with your business, then why would you not help someone under you when they ask for it?
And the second, "The Lord helps those who help themselves," even though it is NOT found
in the Bible, is also something to think about in relationship with this business. If you just sit on your rear end expecting
others to do the work for you, what do you think is going to happen to you and your business?
The Bible does say, many places, to "Trust in the Lord" and that is the best advice I can give
you. Trust in the Lord for all the things you need and ask Him to guide you as you
work. He knows what is best for you and if you Trust in Him, and allow Him to guide you, everything will work out for the
best.
If you do as much work as you can, Trust in the Lord, and help as best you can, what do you think will
be the out come?
You will prosper.
It will take time, but you will prosper. Your income will increase.
If you don't think you know enough to be a help to others, then find out how to learn what you need to know. That may
mean just studying the program or programs you are in. That may mean learning how to market effectively. That may mean getting
answers from those above you in your programs. Believe me, if you ask for help, any good marketer will answer, if they don't,
then move up the line until you find someone who will work with you.
Here's the rule, if I help you in a Network Marketing Business to be more successful, you will in turn
be helping me become more successful. Anyone who hasn't figured this simple rule out by now, should move on to something else,
because they will never make money in this business.
Whatever it takes, whatever you have to learn, whoever you have to ask, you need to be able to help people so
they can help you.
It's that simple.
And I feel the need to quote a little more from Matthew 22:36-40,
- 36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" 37 And He said to him, " `YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
38 "This is the great and foremost commandment. 39
"The second is like it, `YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'
40 "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
And as long as I'm quoting, here's Psalms 118:8,
- It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in man.
And Jeremiah 17:7,
- Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD.
