You can't just sit there waiting for something to happen, for someone else to do the work.
You have to Be Proactive.
Okay, you've joined a program that you think will be a good one. You like what they have to offer and hope to make money
with it.
But what are you doing?
If you joined because you think that's all you have do, if you believed the hyped up garbage about not needing to promote
to earn, you might as well give up now and save yourself a lot of time and money.
No matter what program you're in, it's going to take work on your part to make money with it.
So, I'm going to give you some advice to help you out.
First off, if all you are marketing are "Tool" programs, programs that only have tools and E-books to help others market,
what I am going to talk about is not going to help you. You are limited to marketing to marketers. Those people going through
the check out at the Super Market will not be interested in what you have.
But my guess is, most of you are also marketing something that any normal person cannot only understand, but may be interested
it and may want to buy. And I am talking retail here.
The Key to any good Network Marketing program, is Retail Sales.
Meaning, people buying the product or service your company offers, but not opting to market it themselves, which is a
LOT of people.
To reach those people, those Retail Customers, you are going to have to be Proactive to find them. You can try
Online Marketing, but your best bet may well be Off Line.
I don't care what product or service you are selling, You should be able to market it Off Line and
get sales.
Any program with Real Products or a Real Service to sell, can be marketing Off Line.
Do you want the kind of residual income the Websites talk about? Then you Need Retail Customers buying what you have
to offer.
Just because you are Online, doesn't mean your Customers are.
Any program can be sold Off Line if it has products or services normal people want.
You can make up fliers with pull off tabs on the bottom with your contact information or Website address on them. Then
you can place these in stores and shops that have community bulletin boards. A tip is to pull off at least one of the
tabs so people don't think no one is interested and so they don't think they are the first one.
If your Website is only one of those affiliate sites with a LONG URL, you can get a short redirect address many places
around the Web. Just do a search with the terms, "free short redirect URL" on any search engine like
Google.com. There are some like
http://beam.to/ that don't even require a banner link back.
Or you can buy yourself your own domain name and have it redirect to your affiliate site. For less then $10 a year you
can get one from sites like:
http://www.stargateinc.com/
Any good program will offer you help writing and putting together a flier. If they don't, ask your upline
members. I'm sure there are people in every program that sells products or services Retail, that have used them and who can
help you out.
You can also have Business cards made up for little money, with your contact information, short URL or domain
name on them and hand them out to everyone.
You can also make up some small fliers and go door to door and leave one on each door, just not in the mail box, that's
only for real mail. If you have the time, it's great exercise and it can generate some interest and some sales for you.
Not to mention, if any of your customers asks you if you are making any money selling, you can tell them about the business
part of your program. If they like the products or services, they are ahead of the game and could be good assets for you and
your organization if they want to market.
Whatever program, products or services you are marketing that appeal to normal people, you must seek out Retail Customers
and make them aware of what you can offer them.
With some of these programs, one sale can lead to a lifetime of residual payments to you even if they never market
the program.
You need to be Proactive and not sit waiting for it all to come to you. This is a Business and you need to treat
it like one in order to succeed.
