Well, I bet you thought I had come up with a New Plan to make us all Rich, when you read the
title, didn't you? Well, you're wrong. I am going to lay out the Game Plan I see when many of these New Programs
Launch their Pre-Launch Mania.
I see this all the time. So have you, but have you really thought about what they are doing? When
a New Program gets ready to launch, what do you see a lot of them doing? They build the Excitement. They get the Web ready
for what they say will be the Biggest Thing Ever. They get some BIG Guns behind it, if they can. And they promote it like
the second coming.
One day I got a call from a certain company that was launching. They were looking for Heavy Hitters.
They wanted me, I thought that's nice of them. (I don't think of myself that way, but...) I could hardly understand the guy,
but I understood this much, he wanted me to cross recruit members in my other programs into this one. I told him to take a
hike.
Next day, someone else called about this. She was nicer and I understood her better, but I told her
the same and to take me off their call list. Note, I also have a no solicitation block on my phone line. It didn't stop them
though.
Third day, they called again ... and they called again on the fourth day.
Now, maybe I would have joined then, if I had been offered it in a normal way. It looked like a winner.
But this just fried my bacon. The point is, they wanted to create a Buzz. They wanted to start the Web Talking. Get the Pre-launch
word out.
Another example is this New program of Mark J. and Company. It's everywhere, all over the Safelists
and they have you believing people are signing up right and left, and maybe they are. But, no one even knows what the Product
is.... They are joining because of Mark J.'s name. That's all.
And here's another one. Called 'something' Lightening. If you haven't seen it, you won't, it's
gone now. But this is also being touted as the best ever. Many leaders and Newsletter publishers have taken spots high up
and been teasing everyone with it for weeks and weeks. I got a look at what they are offering last night. 25 autoresponders,
Ad Tracking, Reminder Messages, and a 2x15 forced matrix. All for the fun price of $39.95 a month.
I have all that and more for less.
Plan works.
- Get a program, preferably a New one.
- Get some Big Names behind it.
- Get some E-zine publishers behind it.
- Promote it like it's the Best Ever.
- Get people so excited, they will join before they even read what they are joining.
- Make BIG Money.
- If the program isn't as good as the Hype, people who join late have to work their butts off to make
anything. Then they quit and you move on to the next Game Plan, with a BIG FAT Bank account.
And whether anyone writes this down and plans it, that's how the Game is Played for the most part.
Now you know the Game Plan. You know what to look for. You know how it's Played.
So how do you overcome it?
If you see the Game being Played with a New Program, here's what to do. Once they open the gates and
you can look at what's offered, Do so. Read everything you can about the Product or the Service. Study it. Don't let them
win. Don't join without knowing what it is you are joining. The Game itself is not all that bad, it's just when it's used
to promote a less then good program is where you can get into trouble.
The programs I offer are programs I think can help you, either to get leads, or to
answer their questions and train. I looked at these programs before I join and thought long about them.
I thought long last night looking at 'something' Lightening. I could have promoted
it like the Money Maker to end all money makers. And you should be using an autoresponder anyway. But I held off, I did some
more checking and decided, no this is not for me, costs to much for what you get, I can't get behind it.
If I show you a program that is little high in price, it's because I think the product is worth it.
I don't want to have do what some are now doing, having to say to those who joined that thing, I made a mistake. Sorry....
I have joined things in the past that were hyped to death, it was a mistake and I have dropped
them. I joined 2 Downline Clubs just because of all the hype. I stopped promoting them.
So when the Hype Game Plan starts working, look out for yourself. Don't jump just because everyone
else seems to be. You need to think for yourself. Do you like the product or service? Can you see others wanting it? Is there
a need for it? Is it priced right?
The Game is Played to Win. The Winners are almost always the people who started the
Game, and you can be the loser if you aren't careful. Don't let Hype talk you into anything before you've really looked it
over and thought about it. Look beyond the Hype and look at the program and what it really offers.
If it's a Good Program Today, it will be a Good Program Tomorrow.
