Number One Rule and I will only say this Once, DO NOT join a program Just because of the people
behind it. Or because of the promise of Spill over. Now read the rest of today's Sermon.
We all see so much stuff out there on the Web. We get it in our E-mails by the ton. We view it as
we do Hit Exchanges. So, how do you pick the right ones and not get stuck with a turkey?
First, look at the Website. Is it a homemade job? If it is, are there links to the
companies main sign up site? If there aren't and if the home made site is all there is, be careful.
Next, look for the products. If all the site talks about is how much cash you can
make, run to the next site. If there is no product, there is no future with that program. Any program worth it's salt starts
with a great product or service. There has to be one, it can't just be spending money to make money. LOOK FOR THE
PRODUCT.
Then find the FAQ page. There usually is one. Read through it carefully. Noting the
questions and the answers. I saw one FAQ which basically said, "If you need more information than what is on this site,
this program is not for you." RUN AWAY from this site as fast as your mouse can carry you.
Look for the cost of the product or service. Be sure it is reasonable for what you
get. If it is overly expensive, you are going to have a Very Hard time getting anyone to join with you. If it's a little pricey,
but the product is exceptional, then start to really think about joining.
Is it something you can Retail? The best Programs, the ones that stand a better chance
of being around for a long time or have been around for a long time offer a way to Retail the Product or Service without having
to talk about the opportunity at all. Not everyone is interested in a Home Business, but they might buy a Product or Service
from you.
If you have gotten this far, start thinking about who would use this product or service?
Is it something anyone can use, or is it just a marketing deal? If it is, then you know you will be marketing the marketing
program only to other marketers. A small but growing group, compared to the general population of normal people, which is
in the Billions.
If it is something anyone can use, then the market is wide open for you to play with.
A service or product that the guy down the street will look at and say, "I want it," is the one we all dream of.
Look for programs with products or services like this.
If it is something to help you market other programs, be sure it is set up in a way that it
can help you. What I mean by that is, some marketing programs are only set up to market that program. Which does
you no good when it comes to the rest of the programs you are in.
If it's a good marketing product or service and you are thinking of signing up, stop for a
minute. Think about how you are going to use it. Think about how you can Sell it to others, and that is what you
are doing, Selling. Don't believe the garbage on Websites that says, "All you have to do is direct people to the site
and it will do the work for you." THAT IS THE HARDEST PART. And it takes SELLING to do it.
There are some things out there that are costly to get into. Be extra careful as you think about these.
It's a lot of money you are about to spend, so make sure you are buying something you can use, and something you can Sell
to others to use.
Plan on Using the Product or Service yourself. If you don't use it, how can you Sell it?
Another thing you need to do before you join something is check out the Web for other comments about
the program or the people behind it. There are several Forums around on Network Marketing and the people who post there usually
know what they are talking about. Many will have looked at what you are looking at and may have joined and can answer questions
about the program.
Do some Searches for the program name, the owners or promoters name and see what you get. Then add
the word scam and search again. Hopefully you won't find much.
There are sites that specialize in uncovering scams. Search for them.
But as you read through some of these sites and their message boards remember a lot of what you read
is just hearsay, and may not be much more than that. But it will give a gauge as to what others think about a program.
The main point is, when you look at a program, look at the product and its cost. Is it something
You can use? Will You Use it? Is the cost reasonable for what you get?
Then look over the marketing plan and what they offer in the way of help to get you going.
So check the overall look of the site, product or service, FAQ pages page, cost, marketing plan
and owners. Then check the Web and see what others are saying.
Then if you still want to join and you know you can and will use the product or service, sign
up!
