Another week has gone by and more and more opportunities have reared their ugly heads all
over the Web. Each one promising to make you Rich and get you out of that weekly grind we all hate. I read the promises,
and the Hype in Bold Print and I have to wonder what some of these people are thinking. Do they think we are all Dummies or
what?
Never believe the Hype you see on a Companies Website.
I Love the one that says, "All you have to do, is get people to this site and we'll do the Rest."
Give me a Break. Getting people to a Website is the Hardest part. And they make it
sound so easy. It isn't. It takes work and time and money if you really want to get anywhere.
I have talked about the myth of joining something for Free before, and I'll say it again, if you join
something for FREE and expect to Make Money, you are in for a BIG surprise. If someone doesn't BUY something, the
company doesn't Make Money. And if the Company doesn't Make Money, they can't Pay You.
If they say, "You can Join for FREE and Make a Fortune." Be ready to hit the Delete Button
or move on to the next site. If Everyone joined it for Free, there will be No Money to Pay anyone anything.
Do Owners of a lot of paid programs expect us to sign up and be able to get people to the Wonderful
replicated sites they give us? No, they expect us to sign up, pay whatever it is they are charging and add to their bank account.
They know most of us will drop out, but they will have our money for as long as we remain paid members. If we sponsor others,
they are happier, because they will make that much more money.
Who wins? They do.
Who Loses? We do, most of the time.
So, how can we get around this? We can find at least One program we can stand behind
and stick with. One we can take the time to use and to learn what it takes to build a business with. We can take the Risk
and stick with it.
As you know, I am in several programs. I stick with them because I believe in what they are offering
or what they are trying to do.
We all should be Looking for Companies with Products or Services we can use and feel good about offering
to others. If we don't use the companies product, how can we sell it to others?
Some of us jump like rabbits from one sure thing to another, losing money and time and never getting
anywhere. Some of us sign up for things we know we will never use thinking we can profit from it. Some of us will believe
anything.
When you join something with the idea of profiting from offering it to others, make sure it
is something you believe in and use. Pay for some advertising, reach for those people
who need your product or service. But don't just sit there waiting for someone else to do it for you.
You have to do it, You have to make it Work for Yourself.
